Top 20 children’s books

A recent poll of United Kingdom adults between the ages of 16 and 65 has identified C.S. Lewis's The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe as the best children’s book of all time.

My English Language Development students wanted to read The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. We began it two weeks ago. They are hooked!

I have asked the school's administration to buy the whole Narnia series (among others) for the school's library, but I have the feeling that it will take quite a while until they approve the request.
